1. How long have you been volunteering at CTRC?
I’ve been a volunteer since 2018.

2. What inspired you to start volunteering at CTRC?
I rode a little as a child. When I retired from teaching, I wanted to continue to contribute and working with kids was always fulfilling. I love horses and kids, and this made sense.

3. What is your favorite part of volunteering with us?
My favorite part of CTRC is sidewalking and connecting with the riders.

4. What would you say to someone considering volunteering here?
I would and I have told many people that nothing cheers you up like helping someone else. Like the bumper sticker on my truck says about dogs, “Who rescued who”, I would ask “who is getting
therapy?”

5. What do you like to do outside of your time at CTRC?
When I’m not at the barn, I enjoy working in the woods gathering firewood, paddle boarding, Jui Jitsu, surfing, and fishing.
