How long have you been volunteering?
I assisted with some projects in 2024 but started volunteering regularly in May 2025.

What inspired you to start volunteering at CTRC?
I saw an amazing group of staff and volunteers and wanted to assist.

What is your favorite part of volunteering with us?
I love being part of a team (humans & equines) who make a difference in the lives of people with a disability. I also love learning about and caring for the horses.

What would you say to someone considering volunteering here?
Come to an event here or observe a class. You will know if this is your calling.

Who is your favorite horse?
This is not a fair question! Every horse has a unique personality and their own special gifts. I love Patrons Flehmans response after eating sweet feed. There is no softer coat than Firecat’s. Jojo is majestic in size and has a silly swagger. I could go on and on…
