1. How long have you been volunteering for?
I have been volunteering for a year now at the CTRC. I started last summer and have been having a blast since!

2. What inspired you to start volunteering at CTRC?
I have a passion for working with the many people and communities that the CTRC offers services to. I also have always been interested in in horses and how they can help others. Someone recommended I looked into CTRC and well…the rest is history!

3. What is your favorite part of volunteering with us?
That’s hard. There is so much I love here! I love being a barn buddy and connecting with Cayenne. She is such a wonderful girl. I also love the Tuesday class I

volunteer in. The kids always bring a smile to my face 🙂

4. What would you say to someone considering volunteering here?
Absolutely do it. Even if you just come to sub for us because you need more flexibility with your schedule. It is worth it. We have such a supportive community. Our clients and their families are so amazing. There is room to grow here as well as connect with so many people from so many backgrounds!

5. Who is your favorite horse?
Cayenne is definitely my favorite. She is such a sweet girl with a fun personality. She is patient with our clients too.

6. What do you like to do in your free time outside of CTRC?
I love to spend time with my family. I also have ferrets and other animals who all bring smiles to my face. I’m an avid dancer and enjoy going to dance classes. I love playing games with my friends. I am a multimedia artist. I absolutely jump at opportunities to go to concerts from all different genres. I love music and community 🙂
