How long have you been volunteering at CTRC for?
Since just before COVID, January 2020. I volunteered all through covid and ever since.

What inspired you to start volunteering at CTRC?
A coworker (who still volunteers at CTRC) said “Just try it! You can always quit after finishing one session if you don’t like it.” 6 years and many sessions later, I’m still here!!

What is your favorite part of volunteering with us?
Two things! The community at CTRC. Everyone is valued for their contribution and their specific talents and we all help each other.
And the horses! They are the very best. CTRC horses love their work, love their riders, and love the volunteers. A good nuzzle or nicker from a horse really brightens my whole week!

What would you say to someone considering volunteering here?
Just try it! You won’t regret it.

What do you like to do outside of your time at CTRC?
I love to take pictures of wildflowers and walk in the mountains.
