Dear Friends of CTRC,

We are thrilled to announce a special event celebrating the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center’s 45th anniversary! For 45 years, CTRC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has been dedicated to serving children and adults with physical and mental disabilities through the healing power of horses. This year, we are marking this milestone by launching our 2025 45th Anniversary T-Shirt Art Contest—and we need your creativity to make it unforgettable!

We are seeking original artwork submissions to feature on our 45th anniversary t-shirt. T-shirts will be printed as part of our fundraising efforts, with proceeds directly supporting our programming and scholarship funds.

We welcome submissions from all ages and abilities! The theme for this year’s contest is: “Horses Changing Lives.” We encourage you to let your creativity shine by capturing the transformative relationship between humans and horses.

Please review the attached contest packet with guidelines, submission deadlines, and how to submit your artwork. The winner’s artwork will be featured on our official 45th anniversary t-shirt, worn and celebrated throughout the year! This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your creativity and make a meaningful impact on our community. Together, we can celebrate 45 years of changing lives and fostering connection through the power of horses.

In addition to joining our celebration, we invite you to get involved with CTRC in meaningful ways! Whether it’s volunteering with our incredible therapy horses, participating in our adaptive riding classes, or becoming a client, there are so many ways to engage with our mission. If you enjoy hands-on projects, our Facilities Committee is always looking for dedicated individuals to help with farm maintenance, like fixing fences and keeping our property in top shape. You can also support our work financially—sponsoring a therapy horse or making a donation helps provide life-changing equine-assisted activities and therapies to those in need. Every contribution, big or small, makes a lasting impact on the lives of our participants and the future of our programs.
