1. How long have you been volunteering at CTRC?

I began volunteering in June of 2023.

2. What inspired you to start volunteering at CTRC?

I was looking for volunteer opportunities after moving to Colorado. CRTC appealed to me because it combines helping people, working with animals and getting to spend time outdoors.

3. What is your favorite part of volunteering with us?

I love all parts of it – seeing the joy riding brings the participants, working with the amazing horses and the warmth and kindness of the volunteers and staff.

4. What would you say to someone considering volunteering here?

Go for it! I knew nothing about horses when I started volunteering. With the support of the other volunteers and the staff, my confidence increased quickly. I feel lucky to have found this organization!

5. What do you like to do outside of your time at CTRC?

I have recently taken up woodworking. I also love to hike with my dog and spend time with my nieces and nephews.
